Cleaning the oven and refrigerator covers the oven rack, oven bottom, inner surface of the door glass and seal, refrigerator shelves, drawers and the folds of the door rubber seal, which are dried with a cloth after washing, because the moisture left in the folds promotes mould.

Spring cleaning focuses on dust left over from winter and spring pollen, which accumulates on curtains, window sills and ventilation grilles more than the rest of the year, as windows start to be opened again at this time.
Kodukoristus Tallinn brushes the curtains with a soft brush in the spring before vacuuming, because pollen accumulates between the curtain fibres and the vacuum cleaner alone cannot remove it.
A deep cleaning of the kitchen removes the layer of grease vapor that has settled above and near the stove from the cabinets, the extractor hood filter and the joint between the tiles with an alkaline detergent, because the alkaline product breaks down grease so it can be washed away that washes off the surface.
When deep cleaning the kitchen, Kodukoristus Tallinn removes the knobs of the stove and washes the circles of grease accumulated under them, which are not touched by daily wiping.
Deep cleaning of the bathroom removes the accumulated limescale from the shower wall glass, taps and joints with an acid scale remover, because the limescale consists of calcium carbonate, which is not dissolved by an alkaline agent, only the acid reacts with it and crumbles the layer.

What affects the price:
A deep cleaning of a four-room apartment, 85 square metres, requires three cleaners and 5 hours, including a deep cleaning of the oven, refrigerator and bathroom. Deep cleaning of a two-room, 55-square-meter apartment takes 3 hours for two cleaners. In 2025, a deep cleaning took an average of 9 cleaner-hours.
Cleaning the inside of the oven takes 35 minutes, including soaking the grates in a separate tub, and cleaning the inside of the refrigerator with emptied shelves and drawers takes 25 minutes.
To remove limescale from the bathroom joints, an acidic agent is applied to the surface and left for 10 minutes before wiping: if you wipe earlier, the coating remains, because the acids take time to break down the calcium carbonate crystal structure, not just moisten the surface.

1. Inspection and going through the premises: the cleaner went through 2 floors with the customer and it was agreed that the sauna is part of the work and the terrace and the windows of the second floor are left out; the oven, refrigerator and bathroom joints went on the inspection page.
2. Top to bottom, dry to wet: 3 cleaners started at the top of the light fixtures and cabinet doors and wiped dry dust on each surface before using a damp cloth.
3. In the kitchen, the stove knobs came off and the circles of fat accumulated under them were washed with an alkaline agent with a pH of 12. The oven took 35 minutes and the refrigerator 25 minutes in a separate bath with the grates soaked.
4. In the bathroom, an acidic agent, pH 2, stood on the joints for 10 minutes, the drain grate was raised and the hair catcher was cleaned. The sauna floors were washed with a diluted soda solution and the sauna door was left open to dry.
5. Final round with the customer: the cleaner went through 2 floors again with the customer in the light falling from the window.

Work starts at the highest point in the room, at the top of the lights and cabinet doors, and moves down towards the floor. On each surface, we first wipe dry dust, only then wet and wipe again, because the reverse order creates a paste-like trace of dust and moisture.
At the end, together with the customer, we go through the rooms again in the light falling from the window, which brings out every stain and dust mark. Deep cleaning deficiencies reported within 19 hours will be cleaned free of charge.

An alkaline agent, pH 12, breaks down the fat into a water-miscible emulsion during the saponification reaction. Suitable for the grease layer on the stove, hood and cabinet doors.
Limestone and scale consist of calcium carbonate, which reacts with an acidic agent, pH 2, and decomposes with the release of carbon dioxide. An alkaline agent does not affect scale at all, because the acid needs the reaction, not the base.
Acid and alkali applied to a surface covered with alkali neutralize each other and both lose their effect. Therefore, the cleaner rinses the surface with water and only then uses an acidic one instead of an alkaline one.
